Rosanne T. Dee

President

Rosanne, founder and President, brings over 25 years of senior management experience in a global, fast growth medical manufacturing firm. As member of the senior management team, her background includes strategic planning and execution, mergers and acquisitions, and finance and human resources. Her 10 plus years of leading and growing a successful consulting practice and building successful relationships with her clients earn RT Dee and Associates, Inc. the reputation of being the “go to” firm for training and human resource services.

Her company focuses on creating enduring cultures that engage all team members. Core services include designing custom training programs, assessing organizational needs and implementing programs to improve organizational effectiveness for clients throughout North America.

Strategic planning facilitation, executive coaching, design and development of innovative compensation and bonus plans, organizational assessment and development, creation and implementation of Human Resource strategic plans, corporate training plans, recruiting strategy, career planning and Human Resource Audits are a few examples of the diverse experience of the lead consultant.

She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management from the State University of New York at Buffalo and a Master of Science Degree in Management of Adult Learning from the State University of New York College at Buffalo.

Rosanne is also an Adjunct Instructor at the State University of New York at Buffalo (UB), Canisius College and Hilbert College, where she teaches various Human Resource and Management classes. She is a certified Myers Briggs, Workplace Big Five and DiSC facilitator and a frequent speaker for professional organizations on leadership and Human Resource topics.

Current professional affiliations and activities include Board Membership for the Erie County Law Enforcement Foundation, Board Member for Mount Mercy Academy, member of the Society for Human Resource Management, ASTD, Working for Downtown, Everywoman Opportunity Center Personnel Committee and the Consultants Consortium. She is a past Board Member of The Young Women’s Leadership Development Charter School, Everywoman Opportunity Center, Niagara Frontier Industry Education Council, and the Buffalo State College Foundation.

Kim Marino

Training and Development Manager

Kim Marino is an education and training professional with a varied background in Management, Customer Service, Sales and Organizational Development. Kim also provides consulting and facilitation services on performance improvement, team-building, customer service, sales, leadership, stress management, time management, conflict management and many other soft skills programs.

Kim has experience in developing leadership programs for Senior Level Management and performance coaching. Her successes in custom designing education, training and team building solutions have helped her clients improve performance.

Kim holds a B.S. in Marketing from Canisius College and an M.S. in Management of Adult Learning from the State University College at Buffalo. Kim also has training in Creative Problem Solving and Human Performance Management. She is a certified DiSC and WorkPlace Big Five facilitator. Kim has volunteered for various not-for-profit organizations including Western New York United Against Drug and Alcohol Abuse, Junior Achievement and the Young CPA’s of America.

Karen Smith

Office Manager

Karen Smith has over 20 years of experience in business management including Customer Service, Logistics, and Supply Management. As part of the senior management team of a medical device firm, Karen has experience in acquisitions and system consolidations. Her background in customer service and project management focuses on the “Customer as the Core” enhancing RT Dee and Associates, Inc. successful client support and relationships. Known for her exceptional communication skills and focused approach, she manages all projects for HR Consulting, Training and Development. Karen holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from Canisius College.

Joan M. Bukowski

Human Resources Consultant

Joan brings more than 20 years of experience in the private and not-for-profit sector to her work at RT Dee & Associates, Inc. Joan spent ten years at a rapidly changing manufacturing facility where she was responsible for their corporate learning and vocational center operations and provided services to assist employees in all aspects of achieving educational and job goals. She’s worked with all levels of management and staff to identify training needs and recommend solutions to improve worker satisfaction and efficiency.

Joan also has an extensive background in marketing and communications, not-for-profit management and corporate training. In addition to her work at RT Dee and Associates, Inc., Joan is an adjunct professor at Erie and Niagara County Community Colleges’ Business Departments.

Joan holds a BS in Marketing from Georgetown University in Washington, DC and an MBA in Human Resources and Organizational Behavior from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Joan is also an active member of Western New York’s cultural community holding a variety of leadership, board and committee positions. She has served as a member of Albright-Knox Art Gallery’s Board of Directors, the Erie County Cultural Resources Advisory Board and President of Buffalo Arts Studio. Currently she is on the Board of Trustees at the Burchfield Penney Art Center and is the President of the Buffalo & Erie County Historical Society’s Board of Managers. She is the first woman in the institution’s 149-year history to hold that position

Matilda Lorenzo

Human Resources Consultant

Matilda (Mati) brings a well-rounded perspective to her role at RT Dee & Associates, Inc. as a human resource expert and compliance specialist.  She has over 20 years experience in human resources, strategic planning and organizational development. 

As a former executive and business partner, she translated corporate strategy into people practices, positioning organizations for growth. Her background includes, managing mergers, acquisitions and re-organizations;designing and implementing performance management systems;leadership development and creating relevant  human resource plans and initiatives. 

As a consultant, she works with both large and small companies in a wide variety of industries to provide expertise across a broad cross-section of business disciplines.  Her success in this role is a result of her ability to quickly identify client needs and to provide practical, cost-effective and cost-saving solutions.  

A native of Western New York and a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo, Mati is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and was a former President of the Buffalo Niagara Human Resources Association (BNHRA). Additionally, she is a board member of the American Cancer Society and holds a Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma.
